In 2005, to celebrate over 50 years as a recording artist, Boone produced and release five new projects in one year, each a different genre of music in which he'd had significant success: R&B, Rock 'n Roll, Country, Gospel, and Patriotic. In retrospect Boone says, "It was foolhardy, but fun, my not realizing you couldn't feed a distributor and their reps, much less the stores, five albums by one artist in one year.

Also, to commemorate Boone's remarkable half-decade career in the entertainment industry, Nashville publisher Broadman & Holman released Pat's memoir, "Pat Boone's America - 50 Years: A Pop Culture Journey Through The Last Five Decades." The 160-page coffee table book contains over 200 photos, pop culture memories, and gives the reader fun facts spanning the life of Boone's career.
